Mail Delivery: Easter Egg Express

Have a long distance friend that you want to visit as the Easter Bunny?  Sending this cute care package is the best way to do that!  This Easter egg is the cutest springtime care package and super easy (and cheap!) to make!

Materials:
1 (or more) large plastic egg (available at Dollar General), newspaper, green paper grass, candy, clear masking tape

First, take crumbled up pieces of newspaper to use as filler in the bottom of the egg.  Cover with grass.

Next, add CANDY!

Make sure you have as much candy as possible packed into your care package...

Then secure with clear masking tape!

Now you have completed a care package to send to your far away friend for Easter!  They will be overjoyed at receiving this springtime gift :)

Yummy Easter Treats!

Easter is right around the corner, so don't forget the sweet treats ;)  Here is a fun and yummy recipe to make Peeps a little sweeter!

The only materials needed are Peeps (which come in many colors and shapes), sprinkles and chocolate chips!

First, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in a bowl.  Careful not to burn them though!  Dip the bottom part of the Peep in the chocolate to cover the bottom half so the sprinkles will stick.

Next, dip the Peep (the part with the chocolate) in the sprinkles - hurry before the chocolate melts completely!

 Lastly, enjoy!!!

Sassy DIY Easter Tree

Holiday trees aren't just for Christmas anymore!  This DIY tree is too cute (and easy) to pass up for Easter!  You've simply GOT to try it ;)

Materials needed: false Easter eggs from a local craft store, floral foam, ribbon, hot glue, sticks from the yard and a decorative bin to put the tree in, along with some moss to add to the bottom of the tree.

To add ribbon to the eggs in order to hang them from the tree, simply place a dollop of hot glue on the end of the egg.  I added some ribbons tied in bows and some tied in knots for variation, as shown.

For the ribbons tied in bows, simply tie them around a small cup and in a bow for equal sized hanging ribbons!

Here's what all the completed egg ornaments look like!

Next, prepare the bin the tree is going to stand in.  This is where the floral foam and moss come into play.

You need to insert the sticks into the foam so they stand up straight to hold the ornaments.

Your completed tree will look something like this!  I hope you enjoy!

Happy Easter, sassy ladies!

This is a super cute craft to do with your little one's fingerprints!

Simply start with red and work your way down the rainbow colors!  Leave room for the clouds at the bottom of the page!

Outline the clouds in black, then add grey paint and glitter!

Viola!  You have a cute rainbow piece of art hand painted by your little one :)
